ILLUSTRATION CLASS - Pop Art Illustration
This great tutorial is from IllustrationClass.com:
Sometimes I get the creative itch to just illustrate something for no other reason then to have some fun.
Like me you’ve probably watched his no frill commercials as he confidently pitches the latest and greatest joe consumer product all the while being hypnotized by his impeccably groomed beard.
This tutorial covers such a project as I attempt to create an iconic representation of master pitch man Billy Mays.
(Tutorial Includes Notes in both ‘English’ and ‘Español’.)

2 NEW YOKA'S FROM ADFUNTURE
Slated for a late October release are these 2 new production Yoka's from Adfunture. These are part of an upcoming trend that supposedly more and more Yoka's are going to be released on a monthly basis. Really looking forward to seeing the progression of the designs placed on these figures, right now the only saving grace for these two is the GID version, the designs are not to strong IMHO...but like I said I am sure things will change, and I am looking forward to it!
Info from Adfunture's site:
Slated for official release this month are 2 YOKAs, Halloween and Auto Racing Series. Both are 6.5cm version. Needless to point out, the Halloween one is glow in the dark... ok, I pointed it out anyways..Maybe we will see the design below in the near future...something about a GID Yoka is really awesome. Keep pumping these out, and I am sure they will get picked up, Adfunture is a great company, and put out great products!

Huge Robot Dinosaur - Kota the Triceratops
I found this on one of my favorite sites to see all kinds of new gadgets Geekalerts.com! I wish stuff like this was around when I was a kid...how awesome a rideable dinosaur!!!!! On second thought it would be cool just to have one now...that thing is HUGE!!!
From Geekalerts:
Kota the Triceratops, the 3 foot tall plush animated robot dinosaur that your child can ride (if they are 60 pounds and under), is now available in the USA and Europe. The video really shows off this Dino's movements and facial expressions:
The 37-pound Triceratops robot wags his tail, opens and closes his mouth, wiggles his horns, makes dinosaur sounds and plays songs and sound effects for your child.
